MSUSAC

Morgan State Information Systems Security Awareness Center is managed by the University Chief Information Security Officer & Enterprise Architect in the office of the University VP for Planning & Information Technology.

The Center is tasked with providing information security guidance and awareness training to the University community.

Started in the Summer of 2006, this blog is one of the tools we have deployed to achieve that goal.

We encourage members of the University community to visit this blog regularly and be a part of our conversation on security related topics.

If you have questions about phishing attacks, viruses, identity theft and others; we might have the right answer for you, or will be able to direct you in the right direction.

If you are trying to purchase a computer system and need clarification about cryptography or some other settings or if you need to determine if Linux is more secure that windows. Let us know, and we will provide you some answers.

Registration to this site is free and open to the public, but in order to limit spam, we request that you register with your Morgan Email address.

If you have any problem registering, plus contact the MSUSAC @ security-at-morgan.edu.

Thanks. We look forward to hearing from you.
