Information Security at Morgan State University encompasses all technology related areas including network access and management, application implementation and access, computer usage, email and related services for personal, research, teaching and learning or for work related purposes.

The University Information Security Operations is managed by the Institution’s Information Security Architect, in the Office of The Vice President of Planning and Information Technology, and under the guidance of the University’s Information Security Advisory Committee.

The Committee is tasked with developing policy, plan and framework for information assurance campus wide, in line with state regulations, laws and statutes, consistent with best practices.

The Security awareness center is tasked with shaping the day to day security pasture as well as providing guidance and awareness to all members of the University community.

In the spirit of the National Cyber Security Awareness Month, the MSUSAC has lined up a few awareness programs.
